Condition and Features: After
3 long years of building up this award winning S2000, i've decided to
sell it and start another project. The vehicle's condition is on
average with any 2001 year model. It does have a few small dings, hair
scratches and a handful of rock chips on the front fenders. But again,
...normal for a 9 year old vehicle with original paint and body parts.
This car has been meticulously built for the car enthusiest. First and
foremost is the supercharger. I had the car dynoed at Engine Logics in
Houston, where it put down 189hp to the rear wheels. After the SC
install and tune, it made 309. The engine internals are still stock.
While the car has a nitrous system installed, it has NEVER been used.
A stand-alone engine management system is highly recommended to ensure
safe use of this kit. Only high performance bolt-on parts were used.
(A detailed mod list is to follow). There are a few things to note:
the Steering wheel had been removed in favor of an aftermarket Sparco
(removable) wheel, which means no more airbag. The cruise control has
also been removed. There is no interior storage, as the custom speaker
enclosure sits tightly between the two seats. The car currently has a
test pipe installed, but will be sold with the OEM catalytic converter
for passing inspections. Many exterior, interior and suspension
modifications have been made (for full details, see mod list) such as:
Apexi EXV adjustable coilover suspension, larger swaybars, carbon fiber
hood, trunk and various pieces. The car was displayed at many local
Texas car events and has won numerous awards. Most recently, it has
been featured in the August 2009 issue of Honda Tuning magazine, the
photos were taken in August of 2008. The car is same, just had many
more visual enhancements and a complete audio system makeover. Just to
note, as i'm sure many are wondering why the price above book value,
this car has over 30k invested in it. The audio system alone was 5k,
the SSR custom ordered wheels another 3k, the special order Top Secret
parts from Japan another 3k, ....the list goes on and on. While I
don't expect to get retail back on these parts, I do expect the buyer
to know what he/she is buying. History: I
am the 3rd owner of the car. I purchased from a close friend whom took
extreme care of the car (hence my purchase). The previous owner
purchased shortly after the original buyer, from my understanding. All
information is available through CARFAX or through a local Honda
dealer. All fluids and services have been maintained. The vehicle is
in proper working condition. Shipping and Payment: Shipping
is at the expense of buyer, no excepetions. Payment must be Cashier's
Check, Money Order or Cash in person, in hand, or on delivery (COD)
only. A $2000 non-refundable deposit will be required while proper
paperwork is addressed to ensure a problem-free transaction.
